Emily Haslett
Ellington Street Garden Liaison

Emily’s love of gardening and her commitment to social justice have brought her to the world of urban farming and gardening work to build community, increase access to healthy food, and address climate change. A recent practitioner of permaculture design, she has found a home at the Boston Food Forest Coalition where she can apply her skills in an organization to whose mission she feels deeply committed. Coming from years of involvement with school committees and boards, she directs her experience and love of bringing people together and community organizing to creating community gardens and food forests. While the majority of her time is devoted to the Boston Food Forest Coalition, she also spends time at the Food Project in Roxbury growing food in community.
