4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Boston Nature Center
Have you ever gone into a public garden and picked ripe apples off the trees? (legally!). And, have you ever pressed those freshly picked apples with an old-fashioned press into delicious cider? If you have not, but would like to, or even if you’re just ready for a repeat – come and join us!
If you want, bring your own apples (picked from a tree, foraged, windfalls).
We will be going on a short walk to pick a variety of apples at the Boston Nature Center. Bill Perkins from JP’s Agricultural Hall will bring his cider press and we will turn our harvest into cider right there!
If you have time, join us for the Cider Potluck following this event!
Both events meet at the Gazebo, and both are free and open to the public.
Please do RSVP so we know how many people to expect.
Bookings are closed for this event.
