Boston Nature Center
Summer slowly winding down and we are enjoying an amazing harvest. The Boston Food Forest Coalition (BFFC) would like to invite you to join us for our 3rd potluck of the season! Come find out about the BFFC’s mission, goals and current projects, share common experiences from our different sites and exchange ideas within the urban gardeners and permaculturists! Help us expand our network by inviting all interested friends and family members, in addition to a dish to share. Enjoy some freshly pressed cider made with just-picked apples from the Boston Nature Center!
6:00pm-8:00pm on September 11th, 2018
We will set up food in the gazebo next to the Clark Cooper Community Garden, at the Boston Nature Center, 500 Walk Hill St, Mattapan, MA 02126.
When you come into the Boston Nature Center from Walk Hill St. take a left at the first street fork and it will lead you to the gazebo.
For a special treat, come at 4:00 and harvest some of the BNC apple trees or bring your own apples (even foraged apples, crabapples or windfalls). Bill Perkins will bring his cider-press and we’ll set up a pressing station at the gazebo.
Can’t make this date? Join us next month on second Tuesday, October 9th – same location.
