TEACHER: Su Cousineau (Nature’s Remedies Series)
DESCRIPTION: Learn how to properly process flowers, leaves, roots, bark and berries into delicious and healing teas. We’ll learn the difference between herbal infusions vs decoctions, while focusing mostly on local plants helpful for the typical colds/flu of fall and winter. Some of our herbs will have been harvested directly from the Boston Food Forest. We’ll brew up some samples and enjoy taste testing together. Geared for adults, but school age children accompanied by a parent are welcome.
Suggested donation (sliding scale): $10 – $50. No one is turned away for lack of funds!
