Mass Audubon Boston Nature Center
Come help us tear out some of the aggressive, colonizing, prolific fast growing trees in the food forest at Boston Nature Center.
You will learn how to identify trees commonly called “invasive” and why we do not use that term, even though as gardeners we have decided they are unwanted in their current locations in our forest garden.
We will be removing multi-flora rose, and cutting back some others – so wear gloves and long pants, and bring a hat for the sun.
Many hands make light work, so we hope to have your help!
