Keep your garden tools going for longer in tip-top shape with a little maintenance and small repairs.
Throughout the long and productive gardening season, your tools have stood by you, making your gardening possible. Now, as we head into winter, is the time to give them back some love. By cleaning, oiling and sharpening your tools before putting them away for the season, you will extend their working lifetime and keep them in better shape to help you. In this workshop, you will gain hands-on experience in the techniques to care for your tools. Bring your own tools, or work on the tools at the Boston Food Forest Coalition site. Our instructor Noah McKenna is an expert permaculturist, founding member of the Boston Food Forest Coalition, and worker-owner of Restoring Roots Cooperative, providing permaculture-based disign, stewardship, and education services in Boston and its environs.
This course is part of our Applied Permaculture 2020 series. You can sign up for this workshop, or, get a discount by signing up for the entire series.
