Special for May 3: You can register for a one-hour online version of this workshop here.

The in-person workshop has been postponed and will be rescheduled once the Governor of Massachusetts has determined that we can safely gather in small groups.  Please check back soon!

Get down to the basics!  Learn how to make everything in your garden grow better by improving the soil.  Join Noah McKennah, co-owner of Restoring Roots, planting permaculture food forests in the Boston Area.

Do you want to give your food forest a great start in life? Then start with the soil. Healthy soil means healthy, beautiful plants and a bounty of good food to harvest with zero or minimal use of fertilizers. In this workshop you will learn how to analyze the soil of your site, and take steps to amend and improve it for the long-term using organic and widely available materials, and enlisting the help of plants and fungi.

Combine this workshop with Planting a Food Forest, offered on the same day!

This course is part of our Applied Permaculture 2020 series. You can sign up for this workshop, or, get a discount by signing up for the entire series.
