Take some small branches from some favorite shrubs and turn them into new plants!  Learn the secrets of propagation through cuttings in this workshop.

Did you know that you can propagate many of your favorite garden plants with cuttings taken from branches in early Spring? In this workshop, you will learn some simple and useful methods to take cuttings from your mature trees and bushes.   Doing your own propagation allows you to save money, and expand your food forest or make plant gifts to share with your friends and neighbors! Join Ruth Rudiez, owner of Gardens by Ruth landscaping.  Ruth worked in small villages in Senegal and at local farms before starting her own company with the mission to re-populate the local urban environment with native plant species and empowering people to grow food for themselves and their communities. She is an experienced permaculture teacher.

Combine this workshop with Fruit Tree Grafting, offered on the same day!
