Sunday, May 23rd 3-4:30pm @ Leland Street Cooperative Garden
Drying and burning herbs has been a human tradition for centuries, particularly among the Native people of US land. It is believed that smoke is a potent release of herbal energy which calls all our senses to be present.
This workshop will serve as an experiential practice for people interested in learning more about this ancient practice. We will touch, smell, and burn dried herbs from the garden, as well as discuss how and why to use this practice and how to dry your own herbs.
This workshop will be led by Rev. Holly Rowley — interfaith minister, Reiki Master, and Shamanic practitioner who uses herbs to enhance her spiritual work with her clients.
Join us on Sunday, May 23rd from 3-4:30pm at Leland Street Cooperative Garden for this community event and offering.
