Join us for the continuation of our popular Medicinal Walks Series in 2019!
For Spring 2019, we have planned four Medicinal Walks, on April 20, May 18, June 15, and June 26. Join us as many times as you like!
Many early herbs are especially full of vitamins, anti-oxidants, and minerals and are particularly suited to springtime cleansing. In May, we will find a mix of shoots, leaves, and flowers.
Join herbalist Su Cousineau of Taproot Healing for an afternoon stroll through the Boston Food Forest. Su will present on the wild and cultivated herbs we find, sharing about traditional food uses, medicinal properties and some basics of harvesting and preparation. Participants will have a chance to share and ask questions as well as enjoy some tea prepared from some of the same herbs we encounter. Geared for adults but children accompanied by parents are welcomed. Dress for outside and check back here for any changes in case of bad weather.
There will be outdoors restrooms available. Please bring your own water. We’ll meet at the front door. Late comers are welcomed to join. Look for sign at front door pointing the way.
Suggested donation $10-$20, no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Your donation makes it possible for us to continue to offer these workshops. Thank you.
