For many years, the neighbors of the Edgewater Food Forest have worked diligently and collaboratively to transform this vacant space in Mattapan into a beautiful food forest garden.

On May 13th, the Edgewater community will come together to celebrate the long-anticipated completion of this project, christening this food forest as an oasis in the neighborhood.

Join us in celebrating the Grand Opening of this food forest and celebrate the hard work of the community members involved, as well as the Edgewater Neighborhood Association, Mattapan Food & Fitness, Restoring Roots Cooperative, and BFFC.

All are welcome. There'll be live music, speakers, Mother's Day bouquets, food, and fun!
