Join the Boston Nature Center Food Forest stewards as they welcome Rob Greenfield — environmental activist and foraging guide — to their food forest and to Boston!

On September 28th, Rob will lead a Foraging for Beginners Plant Walk, where participants will learn how to safely and sustainably forage common edible and medicinal plants that grow abundantly around us.

In this walking workshop, you’ll be introduced to:
- ten or more common edible and medicinal plants growing in our bioregion;
- safe urban foraging practices;
- sustainable harvest practices;
- simple strategies for successful foraging and plant identification.

All are welcome, regardless of previous experience.
