This special workshop will be hosted in collaboration with the Sherman Street Green Space Conservancy in Roslindale. As an established, semi-mature urban forest, the Sherman Street space is a shining example of a resilient, community-run green space in an urban setting.

Join BFFC and the lead steward of the Sherman Street Space for a tour of the land. We'll learn the history of this space and discuss native plants, compost, weeds, and more relating to urban forests. We'll also discuss the practice of engaging one's community in the process of tending land.
