Plant ID Workshop

  • Boston Nature Center Food Forest 500 Walk Hill Street Mattapan, MA, 02131 United States (map)

Join BNC stewards and local herbalist/lover of botany Alex Klein for a workshop focused on plant identification. We'll walk around the food forest at the Boston Nature Center identifying various plant species, their reproductive structures and modes of dispersal, as well as potential uses in the landscape, kitchen, and medicine cabinet.

This workshop will be a sort of Botany 101 from the perspective of an herbalist/avid forager/gardener. Bring a loupe if you’ve got one!
