Raising Healthy Fruit Trees

  • Boston Nature Center 500 Walk Hill Street Boston, MA, 02126 United States (map)

Join us for an observation-style workshop all about fruit tree health at this time of year in our region. We’ll cover the ins and outs of spring and early summer care for all kinds of fruit trees in a temperate New England climate. We’ll dive into tree and crop health, identification and cultural control of major pests, and promotion of soil fertility. Healthy trees promote overall ecosystem health and harmony in a food forest or garden.

The workshop will be led by Ben Crouch, owner of Land of Plenty Gardens. Ben has years of experience in tending trees and landscapes, and has tons of information to share with us.
