Join the stewards of the Boston Nature Center Food Forest for a Summer Tree Pruning Workshop. The session will include discussion, demonstration, and hands-on practice.

We’ll discuss why we prune in early summer, how to determine which pruning cuts to make on a given tree, as well as tools and procedures for how to prune cleanly and effectively. Each participant will have the chance to practice determining and making pruning cuts.

This workshop will be led by Ben Crouch of Land of Plenty Organics. Ben is an expert in tree care and has led many excellent pruning workshops with BFFC in recent years.
