Winter Pruning Workshop

  • Boston Nature Center Food Forest 500 Walk Hill Street Boston, MA, 02131 United States (map)

This workshop will cover the why, what, and how of late winter pruning.

Scheduled before the end of trees’ winter dormancy, this workshop is designed to support tree stewards of all levels to assess, plan, and perform successful winter pruning of their fruit trees for a bountiful season ahead.

We’ll cover the basics of pruning through discussion and demonstration, leaving time for plenty of hands-on practice and implementation of skills.

The workshop will be led by Ben Crouch of Land of Plenty Organics — an expert in tree health who has taught lessons in pruning and other permaculture topics for years.
