This workshop will cover all the basics of winterizing a food forest or perennial garden. We’ll cover mulching for healthy soil, protecting young fruit trees ahead of frost, and much more.

The planting and development of this site has recently been completed, so this workshop will also be an opportunity to introduce stewards and volunteers to the new resident plant species and discuss basic plant care.

This session will be led by Noah McKenna of Restoring Roots, a collaboratively-owned and ecologically-focused landscaping company.
